Wildwood Mayor Pete Byron Endorses Garcia-Balicki for State Senate, Wilson and Capizola for Assembly
(Wildwood, NJ) – Wildwood Mayor Pete Byron released the following statement endorsing State Senate candidate Yolanda Garcia-Balicki and Assembly candidates Chris Wilson and John Capizola Jr. for the first legislative district:
“Yolanda Garcia-Balicki understands the challenges facing working families in South Jersey and is ready to lead the fight to bring home our fair share in Trenton,” said Byron. “I have no doubt Yolanda will be a tireless advocate for South Jersey working families and will bring a major dose of common sense to Trenton.”
Yolanda Garcia-Balicki, the wife of former Cumberland County Democratic Chairman Robert Balicki, is an Associate Attorney with Helmer, Conley, & Kasselman, P. A., in the firm’s Bridgeton and Vineland offices. She is fluent in Spanish and practices Immigration Law. Prior to joining the law firm, Ms. Garcia-Balicki had extensive experience working with the State Parole Board. As a proud working mother of three sons, she supported their education within the Vineland Public School District and volunteered for their many extra-curricular activities. Ms. Garcia-Balicki is a member of numerous professional associations and boards.
“The first legislative district needs strong voices in the Assembly who have integrity, passion, and understand the everyday struggles of working families,” said Byron. Chris Wilson and John Capizola Jr. are those voices. As a dedicated public servant and small business owner, Chris and John will be tireless advocates for the middle class and main street.”

For over a decade, Chris Wilson has served as President and Coach for the Vineland Midget Football League. He also serves as Vice-President of Midtown Resources, which provides financial services for small businesses. He is an advocate with a track record of connecting and mobilizing small businesses, local organizations, teams, and community members providing them with financial and creative partnerships propelling our local economy.
John Capizola, Jr. is a Vineland small business owner and a Physical Education Teacher in the city’s public school district. He is dedicated to his community, volunteering his time as coach and treasurer for a variety of Vineland youth sports.
